Relationship Manager
The Relationship Manager (RM) will be responsible for creating exceptional customer experiences, building long-term relationships with high-net-worth clients, and driving sales for the luxury jewellery category. The RM acts as a brand ambassador, showcasing the values, heritage, and service excellence of the C. Krishniah Chetty Group
Key Responsibilities
A. Client Relationship Management
- Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with walk-in, repeat, and high-value clients.
- Maintain a personal client portfolio and ensure regular follow-ups, festival greetings, and exclusive previews.
- Provide personalised shopping assistance to clients.
B. Sales & Luxury Experience
- Understand client preferences to recommend suitable jewellery designs and collections.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets through consultative selling.
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of diamonds, gemstones, gold, platinum, and luxury product craftsmanship.
- Ensure a premium in-store experience aligned with luxury brand standards.
C. Customer Service Excellence
- Handle customer queries, concerns, and after-sales service requests with professionalism.
- Coordinate with internal teams including billing, after-sales, service, and logistics to ensure a seamless client experience.
- Maintain showroom etiquette and uphold grooming standards.
D. Client Data & CRM Management
- Update customer details, purchase history, feedback, and follow-up actions in the CRM system.
- Track client occasions such as anniversaries and birthdays and proactively reach out with gifting options or new collection updates.
E. Events & Client Engagement
- Participate in private previews, events, exhibitions, and VIP engagements.
- Identify opportunities to invite key clients for exclusive product launches.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with a luxury service mindset.
- Ability to understand high-value jewellery and explain product features elegantly.
- Sales negotiation and closing skills.
- Trustworthiness and high integrity.
- Knowledge of CRM systems is preferred.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (hospitality, retail, or business background preferred).
- 3–8 years of experience in luxury retail, jewellery, hospitality, premium fashion, or customer relationship roles.
- Experience handling HNI customers is an added advantage.
- GIA certification will be an added advantage.
