Paris Edition 2026-2027

Please note: By submitting an entry to the Travel the World™ programme ("the Programme"), you ("the Customer", "Participant" or "Winner", as applicable) confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions in their entirety. These terms form a binding agreement between the Customer and C. Krishniah Chetty Group of Jewellers ("CKC", "the Company", "we" or "us"). We kindly request that you participate only if you are comfortable with these terms in full.

Programme Overview
- Travel the World™ is a voluntary, experiential goodwill programme offered by C. Krishniah Chetty Group of Jewellers.
- The Programme is promotional in nature and is extended purely as a discretionary gesture of goodwill to customers who make eligible jewellery purchases on standard commercial terms during the Programme Period.
- No fee, stake or consideration of any kind is charged for participation over and above the price of jewellery purchased.
- Winners are selected from among eligible Customers by means of a random lucky draw.
- As selection is by random draw, no Customer is assured of being selected, and participation creates no right, claim or expectation of winning.
Programme Duration
- The Programme is open from 1st January 2026 to 31st December 2026 (both dates inclusive) ("the Programme Period").
- Only eligible purchases billed within the Programme Period will be considered.
- CKC reserves the right to alter, shorten, suspend or extend the Programme Period at its sole discretion in accordance with Clause 13 (Programme Amendments).
Eligibility Criteria
- Customers must make a minimum cumulative jewellery purchase of ₹15,00,000 (Rupees Fifteen Lakh only), net of all taxes, returns, exchanges, cancellations and refunds, to be eligible.
- Purchases may be made through a single bill or multiple bills, on the same or different dates, provided all bills are issued in the same name and against the same verifiable identity (PAN and/or registered mobile number).
- The cumulative value shall be computed only on the basis of the net amount actually realised and retained by CKC.
- Any amount subsequently refunded, reversed, charged back, or returned (including exchange of goods) shall be deducted from the cumulative value. Where such deduction takes the total below the eligibility threshold, eligibility and/or any winning shall no longer apply.
- Multiple transactions by the same Customer will be treated as a single entry only.
- All qualifying purchases by the same Customer shall be aggregated, provided all bills are in the same name and against the same verifiable identity.
- Splitting bills across family members, associates or entities to qualify or alter the segment may result in the entry being rejected.
- The draw shall be conducted in two separate segments:
  - Customers with cumulative purchases of ₹15,00,000 to ₹50,00,000.
  - Customers with cumulative purchases of ₹50,00,001 and above.
- A Customer shall participate in only one segment based on the highest qualifying purchase value.
- The Programme is open only to individuals aged 18 years or above, resident in India or overseas, who are competent to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
- Employees of CKC, associate concerns, advertising agencies and their immediate family members are not eligible.
- Eligibility is personal to the Customer and may not be assigned, sold, gifted, clubbed or pooled with any other Customer or entry.
Entry Process
- Customers should ensure that all information including identity proof, contact details and bill references is complete and accurate.
- CKC shall not be liable for incomplete, incorrect, illegible, delayed or unverifiable entries.
- Submission of an entry constitutes the Customer's consent to these Terms & Conditions and to CKC collecting, storing and processing personal information for Programme administration.
- Completion of the entry form is not mandatory for eligibility.
- If a Customer crosses ₹15,00,000 during the Programme Period but has not submitted an entry form, CKC may automatically include the Customer in the lucky draw based on its records.
- Any Customer selected through this process must complete the entry form and submit all required documents before the winning can be confirmed.
- CKC reserves the right to verify identity, invoices, eligibility, purchases and payment details.
- Any fraud, manipulation, tampering, false information or conduct contrary to the spirit of the Programme may result in disqualification without compensation.
Number of Winners
- A total of 12 (twelve) couples (irrespective of gender but travelling as couples) will be selected.
- Each Winner couple comprises the qualifying Customer and one nominated companion.
- The companion must also be at least 18 years of age.
- The qualifying Customer must personally travel.
- Once confirmed, the nominated companion cannot ordinarily be changed.
- Winners shall be selected through a random lucky draw conducted separately for each purchase segment.
- The allocation of winners between both segments shall be decided solely by CKC.
- The conduct, timing, method and outcome of the lucky draw shall be final and binding.

Winner Announcement

Winners will be announced tentatively in January 2027. The announcement date is indicative only and may be revised by CKC.
Announcements will be made through the C. Krishniah Chetty Group of Jewellers website, email and/or WhatsApp using the contact details provided by the Customer.
CKC shall not be responsible for any failure of a Winner to receive notification due to incorrect contact details, technical issues, network failures, spam filtering or any cause beyond CKC's reasonable control.
Selected Winners must acknowledge and accept the winning within fifteen (15) days from the first attempted notification.
If no response is received within the stipulated period, the winning shall lapse and CKC may offer the opportunity to the next eligible Customer.
Any communication sent by CKC through email, SMS, WhatsApp or any electronic mode shall be deemed to have been duly served.

Nature of the Experience and Travel Schedule

The travel experience is a complimentary goodwill experience provided strictly on an "as-arranged" and "best-effort" basis.
CKC acts only as a facilitator and is not a travel agent, airline, hotelier, cruise operator or transport provider.
The travel experience will be organised after April 2027, subject to operational feasibility, travel availability and prevailing conditions.
Travel dates shall be finalised after the Winner announcement and confirmed in writing by CKC.
The travel package will include a stay of four (4) nights and five (5) days.
The itinerary, hotels, flights, destinations, inclusions and exclusions shall be communicated separately after Winner confirmation.
CKC reserves the right to substitute hotels, airlines, routes, sailing schedules or destinations with comparable alternatives whenever necessary.
All decisions regarding scheduling, routing and travel arrangements shall be final and solely at the discretion of CKC.

Third-Party Services and Limitation of Liability

This clause defines the limits of CKC's responsibility. Customers are requested to read it carefully.

Flights, airport transfers, cruises, hotels, sightseeing, transport and other travel services are provided by independent third-party service providers.
Each service is governed by the respective provider's own terms and conditions.
CKC acts only as a facilitator for booking and coordinating these services.
CKC does not own, operate or control any airline, cruise company, hotel or transport service.
CKC gives no warranty regarding the quality, punctuality, safety or suitability of third-party services.
CKC shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, diversions, missed connections, overbooking or disruptions caused by airlines or travel providers.
CKC shall not be responsible for hotel room changes, service deficiencies, hygiene issues, food quality or baggage delays.
Any complaint relating to third-party services must be addressed directly with the respective service provider.
CKC may assist on a goodwill basis but assumes no legal liability.
CKC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages, including loss of enjoyment, missed events or financial losses.
The total liability of CKC shall never exceed the actual cost incurred by CKC for arranging the Winner's travel package.
Each Winner and companion travels entirely at their own risk.
CKC shall not be liable for illness, injury, accident, death, theft, robbery, assault, loss of baggage, passports or personal belongings.
International travel involves inherent risks including theft, accidents, illness, civil disturbances and unforeseen events.
Winners are solely responsible for safeguarding passports, visas, cash, jewellery, luggage, electronic devices and personal belongings.
Comprehensive travel insurance including medical, baggage, accident and trip cancellation insurance is strongly recommended.
Unless specifically mentioned, CKC does not provide travel insurance.
Each Winner voluntarily assumes all travel risks and releases CKC from claims arising from participation in the Programme.
CKC shall not be responsible for medical treatment, hospitalisation, evacuation, repatriation or emergency medical expenses.

Indemnity

The Customer, Winner and companion agree to indemnify and hold harmless CKC, its directors, officers, employees, agents and representatives against any claims, liabilities, losses, damages, penalties, legal costs and expenses arising from:

Breach of these Terms & Conditions.
Any act, omission or misconduct by the Customer, Winner or companion.
Violation of any applicable law or regulation.
Injury or damage caused to any third party.
Claims brought by companions or third parties arising out of participation in the Programme or travel experience.

Documentation and Travel Readiness

Each Winner and companion is solely responsible for obtaining valid passports, visas, permits, vaccinations and all required travel documentation.
All immigration, customs and travel regulations of the respective countries must be complied with.
CKC shall not be liable if travel cannot be undertaken due to passport, visa or immigration issues.
CKC cannot guarantee the approval or issuance of any visa.
If required documentation is not submitted within the stipulated time, the winning may lapse.
Each Winner Couple shall comply with all applicable laws and governmental regulations during the travel experience.
Any penalties, fines or legal consequences arising from violations shall be solely borne by the Winner.

Taxes, Charges and Statutory Levies

All applicable taxes arising from or in connection with the winning, including but not limited to Income Tax, Tax Deducted at Source (TDS), GST, travel taxes, airport levies, port charges, tourism taxes and any other statutory levy shall be borne entirely by the Winner.
Where CKC is required by law to deduct, collect or deposit any tax, the Winner shall pay or reimburse CKC for the applicable amount before travel confirmation.
Travel arrangements will not be confirmed until all applicable taxes and statutory charges have been paid in full by the Winner.
Any increase in taxes, levies or government charges before travel shall be payable by the Winner.
The valuation of the winning for tax purposes shall be determined solely by CKC in accordance with applicable law.
Winners are advised to obtain independent tax advice. CKC does not provide tax consultation.

Substitution, Cancellation and Non-Utilisation

No cash, credit, discount or alternative benefit shall be offered in lieu of the travel experience.
The travel experience is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and non-encashable.
If a selected Winner declines the winning, fails to respond within the stipulated period, does not complete documentation or fails to pay applicable taxes, the winning shall lapse.
CKC reserves the right to offer the opportunity to the next eligible Customer.
No compensation shall be payable for any lapsed winning.
Once bookings have been confirmed, any cancellation, no-show, curtailment or non-utilisation by the Winner shall result in all associated costs, cancellation charges and taxes being payable by the Winner.
Any such charges paid by CKC shall be reimbursed by the Winner on demand.
CKC reserves the right to postpone, cancel or reschedule confirmed travel due to operational or unavoidable circumstances.
CKC shall not be obliged to upgrade, enhance or modify the travel package because of changes in exchange rates, taxes, fuel surcharges or travel costs.

Force Majeure

CKC shall not be liable for any delay, modification, cancellation or curtailment of the Programme or travel experience arising from events beyond its reasonable control.
Such events include but are not limited to natural disasters, earthquakes, floods, storms, pandemics, epidemics, quarantines, acts of God, war, terrorism, riots, strikes, civil unrest, governmental restrictions, visa restrictions, border closures, technical failures, accidents, fires or insolvency of airlines, hotels or other service providers.
In such circumstances, CKC may reschedule, substitute or cancel the affected travel arrangements without any obligation to provide compensation, refund or alternative benefit.

Promotions, Pricing and Programme Amendments

Product prices and standard business terms remain unchanged whether or not a Customer participates in this Programme.
Any ongoing promotions shall continue to apply equally to participating Customers.
CKC reserves the absolute right to amend, modify, curtail, suspend, extend, withdraw or cancel the Programme or any part of these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.
Any amendments may be published on the CKC website wherever practicable.
Any unforeseen circumstance, ambiguity or matter not specifically covered shall be decided solely by CKC management.
CKC shall not be liable for website failures, software issues, server outages, technical errors, communication failures or administrative errors affecting the Programme.
In the event of any dispute regarding interpretation of these Terms & Conditions, CKC's decision shall be final and binding.

Intellectual Property, Publicity and Consent

By participating in the Programme and accepting the travel experience, each Winner Couple irrevocably consents to CKC photographing, filming, recording and capturing their name, image, likeness, voice and activities.
Such content may be used, edited, published, displayed or reproduced by CKC for advertising, marketing, promotional, public relations and social media purposes worldwide without additional consent or compensation.
"Travel the World™" and all related trademarks, logos and creative material remain the exclusive intellectual property of CKC.
No person may use these trademarks or creative assets without prior written permission from CKC.
Winners are encouraged, but not obligated, to share their travel experiences on social media and tag CKC's official handles including @ckcsons and @ckcjewellers.

General Conditions

No participation fee is required. Participation is completely voluntary and the Programme is offered on a best-effort goodwill basis.
These Terms & Conditions, together with the Winner Information Sheet (where applicable), constitute the entire understanding between CKC and the Customer in relation to the Programme and supersede all prior oral or written representations.
No employee, agent or representative of CKC has the authority to modify these Terms & Conditions or make any representation inconsistent with them.
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue to remain valid and enforceable.
Failure by CKC to enforce any provision shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other rights.
These Terms & Conditions may be amended at any time at the sole discretion of CKC.
Participation in the Programme does not create any partnership, agency, employment, fiduciary or joint venture relationship between CKC and any Customer, Winner or companion.
Original invoices, payment records, identity documents and CKC's internal records shall constitute conclusive evidence of eligibility and participation in the Programme.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions and the Travel the World™ Programme shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
All disputes, claims or differences arising out of or relating to the Programme shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
