Please note: By submitting an entry to the Travel the World™ programme ("the Programme"), you ("the Customer", "Participant" or "Winner", as applicable) confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions in their entirety. These terms form a binding agreement between the Customer and C. Krishniah Chetty Group of Jewellers ("CKC", "the Company", "we" or "us"). We kindly request that you participate only if you are comfortable with these terms in full.

  1. Programme Overview
    • Travel the World™ is a voluntary, experiential goodwill programme offered by C. Krishniah Chetty Group of Jewellers. The Programme is promotional in nature and is extended purely as a discretionary gesture of goodwill to customers who make eligible jewellery purchases on standard commercial terms during the Programme Period. No fee, stake or consideration of any kind is charged for participation over and above the price of jewellery purchased. Winners are selected from among eligible Customers by means of a random lucky draw. As selection is by random draw, no Customer is assured of being selected, and participation creates no right, claim or expectation of winning
  2. Programme Duration
    • The Programme is open from 1st January 2026 to 31st December 2026 (both dates inclusive) (“the Programme Period”
    • Only eligible purchases billed within the Programme Period will be considered. CKC reserves the right to alter, shorten, suspend or extend the Programme Period at its sole discretion in accordance with Clause 13 (Programme Amendments)
  3. Eligibility Criteria
    • Customers must make a minimum cumulative jewellery purchase of ₹15,00,000 (Rupees Fifteen Lakh only), net of all taxes, returns, exchanges, cancellations and refunds, to be eligible.
    • Purchases may be made through a single bill or multiple bills, on the same or different dates, provided all bills are issued in the same name and against the same verifiable identity (PAN and/or registered mobile number.
    • The cumulative value shall be computed only on the basis of the net amount actually realised and retained by CKC. Any amount subsequently refunded, reversed, charged back, or returned (including on exchange of goods) shall be deducted from the cumulative value, and where such deduction takes the total below the eligibility threshold, eligibility and/or any winning will no longer apply
    • Multiple transactions by the same Customer will be treated as a single entry only. All qualifying purchases by the same Customer shall be aggregated, provided all bills are in the same name and against the same verifiable identity. To keep the Programme fair to everyone, the splitting of bills across family members, associates, or entities in order to qualify or to alter the segment cannot be accepted and may lead to the entry being set aside
    • The draw shall be conducted in two separate segments based on net cumulative purchase value: (i) a general draw for Customers whose net cumulative qualifying purchases are ₹15,00,000 or more but do not exceed ₹50,00,000; and (ii) a separate, dedicated draw for Customers whose net cumulative qualifying purchases are ₹50,00,001 (Rupees Fifty Lakh and One) or more. A Customer shall be placed in only one segment, namely the highest segment for which their total net cumulative purchase value qualifies, and shall not participate in both. Placement in a segment does not affect the rule above that each Customer has a single entry only.
    • The Programme is open only to individuals who are residents of India, aged 18 years or above, and competent to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. Employees of CKC, its associate concerns, their advertising and promotional agencies, and the immediate family members of such persons are not eligible to participate.
    • Eligibility is personal to the Customer and may not be assigned, sold, gifted, clubbed, or pooled with any other Customer or entry
  4. Entry Process

      Eligible Customers can complete the Travel the World™ either online at www.ckcjewellers.com/en_IN/Traveltheworld.html or in-store, within the Programme Period.

    • We kindly request Customers to ensure that all information provided in the entry form (including name, identity proof, contact details and bill references) is complete, accurate and current. CKC shall not be liable for entries that are incomplete, illegible, incorrect, lost, delayed, or that cannot be verified, and may be unable to consider any such entry.
    • Submission of an entry constitutes the Customer’s express consent to these Terms & Conditions and to CKC collecting, storing and processing the Customer’s personal data for the purposes of administering the Programme, in accordance with applicable data protection law and CKC’s privacy policy
    • Completion of the entry form is not a pre-condition for eligibility. Where a Customer’s net cumulative qualifying purchases cross the minimum threshold of ₹15,00,000 (Rupees Fifteen Lakh only) during the Programme Period but no entry form has been submitted, CKC may, at its sole discretion and on the basis of its own transaction records, automatically include such Customer in the appropriate segment of the draw as determined in accordance with Clause 3. For this purpose, CKC may enter the Customer’s name and available particulars from its records, and such inclusion shall be treated as a valid entry for the purposes of the draw.
    • A Customer so included who is subsequently drawn as a Winner shall be required to complete the entry form and provide all required details, documents and confirmations within the time stipulated by CKC, and to comply with these Terms & Conditions in full, before any winning can be confirmed or any travel arrangement made. Inclusion in the draw under this clause does not, by itself, create any entitlement or guarantee of winning, and the provisions of Clause 6 (including the time limit to accept a winning) and all other terms shall apply equally to such Customers.
    • If a Customer crosses ₹15,00,000 during the Programme Period but has not submitted an entry form, CKC may automatically include the Customer in the lucky draw based on its records.
    • CKC reserves the right to verify the identity, eligibility, purchases, invoices, payment details and any other information furnished by a Customer. Where CKC reasonably believes that any Customer has provided incorrect information, or has engaged in fraud, manipulation, tampering, misrepresentation or any conduct contrary to the spirit of the Programme, CKC may decline or set aside the entry, treat the Customer as ineligible, withdraw any winning and recover any costs already incurred, without liability or compensation.
  5. Number of Winners
    • A total of 12 (twelve) couples (irrespective of gender, but travelling as couples) will be drawn as Winners
    • Each Winner couple comprises the qualifying Customer and one (1) companion nominated by the Customer. The nominated companion must also be 18 years of age or above and competent to contract. The qualifying Customer must personally travel; the companion nomination, once made and confirmed, may not ordinarily be changed.
    • Winners shall be selected by means of a random lucky draw conducted by CKC, separately for each of the two segments described in Clause 3, from among the eligible Customers in that segment. The allocation of the 12 (twelve) Winner couples across the two segments shall be as determined by CKC. The conduct, method, timing and manner of the draw shall be at CKC’s discretion, and the result and decision of CKC shall be final and binding
  6. Winner Announcement
    • Winners will be announced tentatively in January 2027. The announcement date is indicative only and may be revised by CKC
    • Announcements will be made via the C. Krishniah Chetty website, email and/or WhatsApp to the contact details provided at the time of entry.
    • CKC shall not be responsible for any failure of a Winner to receive notification due to incorrect contact details, technical failure, network or delivery issues, spam filtering, or any cause beyond CKC’s reasonable control. We kindly request that a Winner acknowledge and accept the winning within 15 (fifteen) days of the first attempted notification; should we not hear back within this period, the winning will lapse and the opportunity may be offered to the next eligible entry
    • Any notice, communication or notification sent by CKC through email, SMS, WhatsApp or any other electronic means to the details available in CKC's records shall be deemed to have been duly served and received by the Customer.
  7. Nature of the Experience and Travel Schedule
    • The travel experience is a complimentary goodwill experience provided strictly on an “as-arranged” and “best-effort” basis. CKC is a jeweller and not a travel agent, tour operator, airline, hotelier, or carrier, and acts solely as a facilitator that arranges the experience through independent third-party service providers
    • The travel experience will be organised and scheduled after April 2027, subject to opera-tional feasibility, sailing/flight availability, and prevailing conditions. Travel dates will be fi-nalised after the Winner announcement based on availability and confirmed in writing by CKC
    • The travel package will include a stay of 4 (four) nights / 5 (five) days. The precise itiner-ary, destinations within the package, carriers, hotels, vessels, inclusions and exclusions will be specified by CKC in a separate Winner information sheet issued post-announcement, which shall form part of these terms.
    • All decisions regarding the structure, timing, routing, sequencing and content of the ex-perience rest solely with CKC. CKC reserves the right to substitute any component of the experience (including hotel, carrier, sailing, route or destination) with one of broadly comparable standard where necessary, without liability and without any obligation to compensate.
  8. Third-Party Services and Limitation of Liability

    This clause has been specifically incorporated to define the boundaries of CKC’s responsibility. Customers are requested to read it carefully.

    • Independent providers: All flights, airport transfers, ground transport, cruises/sailings, hotel accommodation, meals, sightseeing and allied services are provided by independent third-party service providers. The relevant service is governed by the respective provider’s own terms, conditions, contracts of carriage and policies, which the Winner agrees to be bound by
    • CKC acts as facilitator only: CKC merely arranges and books these services on the Winner’s behalf as a goodwill gesture. CKC does not own, operate, manage or control any airline, hotel, cruise line or transport service, and gives no warranty, express or implied, as to the standard, quality, punctuality, safety or fitness of any third-party service
    • Travel disruptions: CKC shall not be liable or responsible, and shall owe no compensation, refund, alternative benefit or substitute arrangement, for any disruption arising from third-party services or events beyond CKC’s control, including but not limited to: flight delays, cancellations, rescheduling, diversions, overbooking, missed connections, or failure of any carrier to update or inform passengers; hotel issues including unavailability of booked rooms, room category changes, downgrades, overbooking, maintenance, hygiene or service deficiencies; deficiency in or dissatisfaction with food, meals, dietary arrangements or beverages; loss, delay or damage to baggage; and any deficiency, delay, negligence, act or omission on the part of any third-party service provider.
    • Recourse against providers: The Winner’s sole recourse in respect of any deficiency, loss or damage relating to a third-party service shall be against the relevant service provider directly, under that provider’s applicable terms. CKC will, on a best-effort and goodwill basis only, assist the Winner in liaising with the provider, but assumes no legal obligation or liability in doing so.
    • No consequential liability: Under no circumstances shall CKC be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential loss or damage, including loss of enjoyment, loss of opportunity, loss of leave/wages, missed events, or any cost incurred by the Winner outside the package.
    • Cap on liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total aggregate liability of CKC arising out of or in connection with the Programme and the experience, howsoever arising, shall in no event exceed the actual cost incurred by CKC in arranging the relevant Winner’s package, and shall in no case extend to any cash payment in lieu
    • Health, fitness and conduct: Each Winner and companion travels at their own risk and confirms that they are medically fit to travel. CKC shall not be liable for any illness, injury, accident, death, theft, robbery, assault, loss or damage to person or property, loss of documents, baggage or personal belongings, or any other incident occurring before, during or after the travel experience. In the interest of all travellers, CKC may withdraw the experience from any person whose conduct is unlawful, unsafe, or prejudicial to other travellers or to CKC’s reputation, without liability.
    • Personal Safety and Safety of Property- International travel may involve risks, including theft, loss of property, pick-pocketing, injury, illness, accidents, civil disturbances and other unforeseen events. Each Winner Couple travel entirely at their own risk and are solely responsible for safeguarding their passports, visas, money, jewellery, electronic devices, luggage and other personal belongings. CKC shall not be liable for any theft, loss, misplacement, damage or destruction of any personal property, or for any injury, illness, detention, assault or other incident occurring during the travel experience
    • Travel insurance: Winners shall be solely responsible for obtaining comprehensive travel insurance, including travel, medical, personal accident, baggage, trip cancellation and personal liability insurance. CKC warmly recommends that no Winner or companion undertake travel without adequate insurance cover. CKC shall not be liable for any uninsured loss, expense, injury, theft, damage, medical cost, repatriation expense or liability suffered by any Winner or companion. CKC does not provide insurance unless expressly stated in the Winner information sheet
    • Assumption of Risk and Release- Each Winner Couple voluntarily participates in the travel experience entirely at their own risk and expressly assume all risks associated with international travel and participation in the Programme. To the maximum extent permitted by law, each Winner couple release and discharge CKC, its directors, employees, agents and representatives from any claims, demands, actions, losses, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses arising out of or connected with the travel experience
    • Medical Emergencies- CKC shall have no responsibility or liability for any medical treatment, hospitalisation, emergency assistance, evacuation, repatriation expenses or any other medical or emergency costs incurred by any Winner Couple
  9. Indemnity

    The Customer, Winner couple agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless CKC, its directors, employees, officers, agents and representatives from and against any claims, proceedings, demands, losses, liabilities, damages, penalties, costs and expenses (including legal costs and attorneys' fees) arising out of:

    • (a) breach of these Terms & Conditions;
    • (b) any act, omission or misconduct of the Customer, Winner or companion;
    • (c) violation of any law or regulation;
    • (d) injury or damage caused to any third party;.
    • (e) any claim brought by a companion or third party arising out of participation in the Programme or travel experience.
  10. Documentation and Travel Readiness
    • Each travelling Winner and companion is solely responsible, at their own cost, for holding a valid passport (with adequate validity), obtaining all necessary visas, permits, vaccinations and health clearances, and complying with all immigration, customs and travel regulations of all relevant jurisdictions
    • Regrettably, CKC shall not be liable, and the winning will no longer apply without any compensation or substitute, if a Winner or companion is unable to travel due to denial, delay or cancellation of passport, visa, immigration clearance, or due to any documentation, health or regulatory requirement not being met. CKC is unable to guarantee the grant of any visa.
    • Where the package requires confirmed documentation by a stipulated date, the winning may, at CKC’s discretion, no longer apply if the documentation is not provided in time
    • Each Winner Couple shall comply with all laws, regulations, governmental directions and local requirements of every jurisdiction visited during the travel experience and shall be solely responsible for any fines, penalties, liabilities or consequences arising from any violation thereof.
  11. Taxes, Charges and Statutory Levies
    • All applicable taxes arising from or in connection with the winning, including but not limited to income tax / tax deducted at source (TDS) on winnings under the Income-tax Act, 1961, GST, travel taxes, airport levies, port charges, tourism taxes, and any other statutory levy or government charge, present or future, shall be borne entirely by the Winner
    • Where CKC is obliged under law to deduct, collect or deposit any tax (including TDS on the value of the prize/perquisite), the Winner shall, prior to confirmation of travel, pay to CKC the full amount of such tax in cleared funds, or reimburse CKC, as CKC may direct. CKC shall not be required to incur or absorb any tax liability on behalf of any Winner.
    • The travel arrangements will not be confirmed, and no booking will be made, until all applicable winning taxes and charges have been paid in full by the Winner and realised by CKC. Delay in payment that results in loss of availability, fare/rate increase or forfeiture shall be to the Winner’s account
    • The valuation of the prize for tax purposes shall be as determined by CKC in accordance with applicable law, and shall be final. Winners are advised to obtain independent tax advice; CKC does not provide tax advice
  12. Substitution, Cancellation and Non-Utilisation
    • No cash, credit, discount, or alternative benefit will be offered in lieu of the travel experience under any circumstances. The experience is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and non-encashable
    • If a selected Winner is unwilling or unable to travel, is unable to respond or accept within the stipulated time, is unable to pay applicable taxes/charges, or is unable to meet documentation requirements, the winning will lapse and the opportunity may, at CKC’s discretion, be offered to the next eligible entry. No compensation shall be payable for a lapsed winning.
    • Once travel has been confirmed and arrangements/bookings made, any subsequent cancellation, no-show, curtailment or non-utilisation by the Winner shall render all associated costs, taxes, levies and cancellation/forfeiture charges payable by the Winner, and such amounts are non-refundable. Where CKC has prepaid any such amount, the Winner shall reimburse CKC on demand.
    • CKC reserves the right to cancel, postpone or reschedule any confirmed travel, in whole or in part, where necessitated by events beyond its reasonable control (see Clause 12), without liability to compensate beyond what is recoverable from the relevant third-party provider, if any.
    • CKC shall not be obliged to enhance, upgrade, supplement or modify the travel package due to changes in exchange rates, inflation, taxes, fuel surcharges, governmental levies or increased costs of travel services.
  13. Force Majeure
    • CKC shall not be liable for any failure, delay, curtailment, modification or cancellation of the Programme or the travel experience, in whole or in part, arising directly or indirectly from any event or circumstance beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, natural disasters, earthquakes, floods, storms and adverse weather; epidemics, pandemics, quarantines and public-health restrictions; war, terrorism, civil unrest, riots and strikes; government action, change in law, travel advisories, visa or border restrictions; fire, accident, technical or systems failure; and any delay, cancellation, withdrawal of service or insolvency on the part of any airline, hotel, cruise operator or other third-party provider. In any such event, CKC may, at its discretion, reschedule, substitute or cancel the affected element without any obligation to provide compensation, refund or alternative benefit.
  14. Promotions, Pricing and Programme Amendments
    • Product prices and standard business terms remain unchanged, whether or not a Customer participates in this Programme. Any ongoing promotions shall be applicable to all participating customers on the same basis as non-participating customers
    • CKC reserves the absolute right to amend, modify, curtail, suspend, extend, withdraw or cancel the Programme, or any part of it, or any of these Terms & Conditions, at any time and at its sole discretion, without notice and without liability. Any such change will, where practicable, be notified on the CKC website.
    • Owing to the unique and discretionary nature of the Programme, any unforeseen circumstance, ambiguity or matter not expressly covered herein shall be addressed and decided solely by CKC management, whose decision shall be final and binding.
    • CKC shall not be liable for any website failure, software malfunction, server outage, network interruption, data corruption, technical error, electronic communication failure, administrative error or any other technological issue affecting the Programme
    • In the event of any ambiguity, inconsistency or dispute regarding the interpretation of these Terms & Conditions, the interpretation and decision of CKC shall be final and binding
  15. Intellectual Property, Publicity and Consent
    • By participating in the Programme and by accepting the travel experience, each Winner Couple irrevocably consent to CKC and its affiliates photographing, filming, recording and otherwise capturing their name, image, likeness, voice, statements and activities before, during and after the travel experience.
    • Such photographs, videos, recordings and other materials may be used, reproduced, edited, published, displayed, transmitted by CKC for advertising, promotional, marketing, social media, public relations and commercial purposes, in any media now known or hereafter developed, worldwide and in perpetuity, without any further consent, notice, royalty or compensation.
    • “Travel the World™” and all associated marks, logos and creatives are the property of CKC and may not be used by any person without CKC’s prior written consent.
    • Winners and companions are encouraged, but are under no obligation, to share their travel experiences on social media and to tag CKC's official social media handles, including @ckcsons and @ckcjewellers
  16. General Conditions
    • No participation fee is required; participation is completely voluntary and the Programme is offered on a best-effort, goodwill basis.
    • These Terms & Conditions, together with the Winner information sheet (where applicable), constitute the entire understanding between CKC and the Customer in relation to the Programme and supersede all prior representations, whether oral or written. No employee, agent or representative of CKC has authority to vary these terms orally or to make any representation inconsistent with them.
    • If any provision of these terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
    • CKC’s failure to enforce any provision shall not constitute a waiver of that or any other provision.
    • These Terms & Conditions are subject to change at the discretion of CKC
    • Participation in the Programme does not create any partnership, agency, employment, fiduciary or joint venture relationship between CKC and any Customer, Winner or companion
    • Original invoices, payment records, identity documents and CKC's books and records shall constitute conclusive evidence of eligibility and participation in the Programme

  18. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
    • These Terms & Conditions and the Programme shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
    • All disputes, differences or claims arising out of or in connection with the Programme shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka, to the exclusion of all other courts
