STRENGTHENING GOVERNMENT SCHOOLS
In addition to academic support, the Foundation regularly conducts health camps, awareness programmes, and educational exposure visits. Students are taken to various iconic institutions and landmarks in Bengaluru, including the Vidhana Soudha (Legislative Assembly), Namma Metro, Museums, Music centres and other places of educational significance, enabling them to learn about governance, public infrastructure, science, history, and civic life through firsthand experience.
The programme has positively impacted over 1,800 students, providing them with a more engaging and nurturing educational environment that encourages learning, builds confidence, broadens their horizons, and inspires them to achieve their full potential.
C KRISHNAIH CHETTY SCHOLARSHIPS FOR GREAT YOUNG MINDS
The programme has nurtured future doctors, engineers, scientists, civil servants, entrepreneurs, and other leaders by enabling deserving students to continue their education without financial hardship and pursue their aspirations with confidence.
Its impact is reflected in the outstanding academic achievements of its beneficiaries—two scholarship recipients secured the 2nd Rank in the Karnataka State SSLC Examination in the 2024–25 academic year, and one scholarship recipient secured the 2nd Rank in the 2025–26 academic year, demonstrating the programme's tangible impact in fostering academic excellence.
CAREER GUIDANCE PROGRAMS - SHAPING FUTURE LEADERS:
The Foundation regularly organizes career guidance and mentorship sessions led by accomplished professionals from diverse fields. Students receive valuable insights into career opportunities, educational pathways, competitive examinations, and the skills required to succeed in their chosen professions.
As part of this initiative, the Foundation has conducted special career guidance sessions on the Indian Administrative Services (IAS) and Chartered Accountancy (CA), featuring successful civil servants and distinguished Chartered Accountants who shared their personal journeys, practical advice, and strategies for success. These interactions motivate students, broaden their career horizons, strengthen.
SCHOOL LIBRARIES – SPACES FOR LEARNING AND GROWTH:
The libraries include books on science, mathematics, literature, history, general knowledge, biographies, reference materials, and personality development, catering to the academic and intellectual needs of students across different grades.
These library knowledge hubs have created vibrant learning spaces that encourage reading beyond the classroom, strengthen language and comprehension skills, enhance critical thinking, and inspire students to become confident, independent learners. By fostering a strong reading culture, the Foundation is helping students broaden their knowledge and unlock their full potential.
TRANSFORMING LIVES THROUGH EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING:
The C. Krishniah Chetty Foundation selects 10 deserving students and 2 teachers from its partner schools to participate in this transformative programme. Over the years, participants have explored Ladakh, visited the SECMOL Campus, trekked through the Himalayan Mountains, and experienced iconic landmarks in Delhi, including the Parliament House and Rashtrapati Bhavan. These journeys provide opportunities to interact with leaders and experts, broaden their perspectives, and gain a deeper understanding of the nation.
Beyond academic learning, the programme nurtures leadership, resilience, teamwork, discipline, problem-solving abilities, environmental awareness, and self-confidence. By learning through real-life experiences, students return inspired to become responsible, informed, and compassionate citizens.
The Foundation has been successfully conducting this annual experiential learning programme for the past four years, benefiting a new cohort of deserving students
BHARATANATYAM DANCE TRAINING
A structured audition process was conducted to identify and select deserving students with an aptitude and passion for classical dance. The selected children are receiving professional training from the renowned Sangeeth Nritya Bharathi Academy, under the guidance of experienced Bharatanatyam instructor.
As part of this initiative, the Foundation supports the students in appearing for professional Bharatanatyam examinations and provides them with opportunities to perform on stage during cultural events organized by the C. Krishniah Chetty Group of Jewellers. The programme aims to nurture their artistic abilities, build confidence, instill discipline, and create a strong foundation for their future in the field of classical dance.
SPORTS FOR YOUNG MINDS:
The Sports Meet provides children with a platform to showcase their talent, develop leadership qualities, build self-confidence, and learn the values of perseverance and fair play. A range of athletic and recreational competitions are conducted, encouraging healthy competition and holistic development beyond academics.
To recognize excellence and inspire continued participation, the Foundation presents individual prizes, medals, certificates, and a prestigious Rolling Trophy to the best-performing school. Through this annual initiative, the Foundation encourages young minds to embrace an active lifestyle while fostering teamwork, resilience, and the spirit of healthy competition.
TRAFFIC WARDEN VOLUNTEER PROGRAMME:
The initiative comprises 20 volunteer Traffic Wardens from across the CKC Group, including Managing Director Dr. C. Vinod Hayagriv and Director Mr. Chaitanya V. Cotha, who actively volunteer their time in support of the Bengaluru Traffic Police. Collectively, the team has contributed over 5,200 hours of voluntary traffic warden service, assisting with traffic management, promoting road safety awareness, and helping create a safer and more disciplined road environment for the public. This initiative reflects the Group's strong commitment to responsible citizenship, employee volunteerism, and community service, inspiring greater corporate participation in civic initiatives that make a meaningful difference to society.
C. KRISHNIAH CHETTY FOUNDATION
In recognition of its meaningful contributions to society, the C. Krishniah Chetty Foundation has been honoured with seven prestigious awards over the past five years.
1. CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) Award – Honoured in 2021 and 2024 for the Foundation's outstanding contribution to social impact and community development.
2. IMAGES Excellence Award – Jury's Special Award (2024) – Received in the combined CSR & GEMZ categories for an outstanding presentation showcasing the Foundation's impactful initiatives.
3. Most Socially Responsible – Runner-up Award (October 2024) – Conferred by Couture India in recognition of the Foundation's commitment to meaningful social responsibility initiatives.
4. SPARSH Hospital Recognition (August 2025) – Honoured for the Scholarship Program for Great Young Minds, acknowledging its contribution to empowering future changemakers through education on the occasion of Senior Citizens Day
5. Excellence in Education & Skill Development Award (September 2025) – Presented by the Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FKCCI) in recognition of the Foundation's commitment to education, skill development, and its contribution towards building a sustainable and inclusive future.
6. India's Coolest Store with Cause – Runner-up Award (2026) – Recognized at the National Jewellery Awards for integrating meaningful Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives with retail excellence.
7. IMAGES Most Admired Retailer of the Year 2026 – ESG Initiatives – Awarded at the Phygital Retail Convention (PRC) 2026, held at the Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai, in recognition of the outstanding Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) initiatives undertaken by the C. Krishniah Chetty Foundation.
